Best Time to Visit Amalfi Coast
May through October (peak: June–September) offer the most reliable weather. Temperatures range from 57°F (14°C) to 84°F (29°C). The shoulder months often deliver the best value with nearly the same conditions.
High Season
December through April brings the best weather, the biggest crowds, and the highest prices. Book 3–6 months ahead for peak dates. This is when Amalfi Coast is at its most vibrant — and most expensive.
Shoulder Season
May–June and November offer 20–40% lower prices with weather that's still excellent most days. You might catch an afternoon rain shower, but it rarely lasts more than an hour. Many travelers consider this the best time to visit.
Low Season
July through October is the warmest and wettest period. Prices are lowest and you'll have attractions to yourself. Trade-off: some businesses reduce hours or close for renovation. Travel insurance that covers weather disruptions is essential.
